We are hoping to host an xml workshop from the 17th to the 20th of June at the Tshwane University of Technology, i have attended a few meetings in this regard. There will no charge for attending and we are hoping to get heavyweights like Steve Pepper, Patrick Durusau and Bob Jolliffe. So far we are on track and it looks like we will have an interesting workshop.
Microsoft announced that they will be natively supporting ODF in Office 2007 with service pack 2, I think that this is great news and really supports us in our strategy to adopt open standards like ODF. I am now quite excited at the possibilities of what could be achieved through the Microsoft interoperability council if they follow through with this announcement.
